About us We are a family business operating mainly in the Waterside and New Forest area of Southampton. Our Services Include
Plastering/Skimming Involves Skimming plaster onto a rendered wall, plaster boarded wall or ceiling Dry wall lining (dot-and-dab) It is now common practice to use Dry Wall Lining in place of Rendering on both New Builds and Renovation. Involves using an Adhesive Compound to stick sheets of plasterboard to a wall. A very clean and quick way to prepare a wall for skimming. Coving Hanging coving around the room, there are many designs to choose from and coving can be decorated 1 day after hanging Re-Skimming Involves a light layer of plaster put onto a previously finished wall ready for fresh decoration Rendering Involves removing any old plaster or residual render from the walls and getting it back to bare brick, Render is then applied to the wall. When dry this can be Plastered/Skimmed. Partitioning/Boarding Dividing an area with a studded wall which is sheeted with plasterboard and then skimmed Floor Screeding Involves using a special 'Screed' mix laid down and smoothed off to level out an uneven concrete floor. |
